Tutorial 3
What Do You Want on Your Mini-Website?

Now, go ahead and gather your organization's information: Name, description of who you are and what you do, your purpose, your past, present and future projects, how someone can join or help your organization, your officers and contact info (your new email?)... Basically whatever you feel is important and appropriate to represent yourselves.

Besides following the Blanco-Texas.com submission guidelines, the other main requirement for your group's Free Web Hosting is that you submit your content in digital format.

That means typing up your page the way you want it, saving it as a Word document (pagetitle.doc) or Text document (pagetitle.txt), then putting it on a CD or floppy disc, or sending it as an email in the submission form.

If you have graphics, please label them and save them separately (jpg or gif only, please), and send as attachments (if you're emailing), with instructions in the text, such as "insert grouppicture.jpg here."

After you submit your digital web page info, I'll figure out how it will fit into the site, then email you with your "actual" address. Then, you can go into your Rooster Moon account and "forward" your new domain name to your page on Blanco-Texas.com.

Again, don't fret; it's a lot easier than it sounds here,

AND

We're almost finished. I Promise.
