Tejas Art Club Meeting

Three new members were introduced at the meeting: Bill Ryman, Joe Walsh, and Jesse Reyna. 

Linda Howard, President, discussed the Blanco Art Club show at Bindseil Park on Saturday, November 18, beginning ate 9:00 A.M. She also discussed copyright laws versus public domain in regards to making your art work available on the Internet.

A short treasurer’s report was given by Treasurer, Stacy Kamas. The members present at the meeting voted to make Sherri Stockman, owner of Real Foods, an honorary member, because of her voluntary work on behalf of the Tejas Art Club.

The website of the Tejas Art Club was discussed and biographical information was collected from the members present and will be available on the website.

Possible fund raisers were discussed. A bake sale will be held at the Blanco National Bank on Saturday, December 16th, from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. All members are encouraged to send something for the bake sale. Cakes, pies cupcakes, and breads will be welcome.

A January 2007 meeting will be held prior to the general meeting in January to discuss the yearly budget and fund raisers.

A CHRISTMAS PARTY will be held on Saturday, December 9th from 3:00 to 6:00 at the home of Pat Griggs. Pat lives on Hwy. 32, 3.3 miles off Hwy. 281, at 285 GO AWAY ROAD. All members and their guests are welcome. Please R.S.V.P. at 833-5319 so we will have an approximate head count. It is very easy to find, bring a light snack, and come and enjoy the fun!!

The meeting closed with a prayer by Joyce Alsup.
