Blanco Churches
and
Houses of Worship

Blanco churches are an extremely important part of our community, providing fellowship and worship opportunities that cover a broad range of beliefs.

The very first church building in Blanco was built by Daniel Rawls, a Methodist circuit rider, in 1854. It was a log cabin, and also served as a school.

Many special events and services are sponsored by area (Blanco) churches, from exceptional musical performances and annual garage sales to providing free hospital and medical equipment to those in need.

Blanco churches, through the Blanco Ministerial Fellowship, sponsor the Good Samaritan Thrift Store and Food Bank. Purchases made at the thrift store generate funds to stock the food bank.

Such a wide variety of Blanco churches means a local church home for practically everyone who desires one. Attend the worship service of your choice, and find your own church family. The many friendly congregations of Blanco County would love to have you.
