All businesses (or at least, the ones I know about) receive a complementary listing, which can be upgraded - for a reasonable fee - to become more "visible." A further upgrade to Premium adds a story or interview type page about you/your business, along with a link to your web site (requires a reciprocal link back to Blanco-Texas.com). This is likely our most valuable business tool: it expands on the "word-of-mouth" concept, something you probably already appreciate. Banner ads are all over the internet, so people are accustomed to seeing them. They are rather like a display ad in a newspaper or magazine. Because they are fairly common, banner ads tend to work best when they are run in conjunction with other types of advertising (such as your free listing, your story page, or perhaps an article about your type of business or service). Where they have an advantage is that your picture, logo, etc. is put in front of lots of eyes - gradually building a recognition factor - especially if you use the same sort of layout as in your print ads. Pricing for Banner AdsAt this time, Blanco-Texas.com offers the following banner ads (sizes are width x height) to be run in six month increments. Pricing depends on which page(s) you choose, and also placement on the page. Higher traffic pages (like one of the real estate or restaurant pages) are understandably a bit higher-priced than lower traffic pages. Placement above the fold on the home page is the most expensive.

If you already have graphics available, we can probably use them as they are (assuming they are in digital format - jpgs and gifs only, please). Please remember that the "weightier" a graphic is, the longer it takes to load.
